Plus, the addition of yogurt gives them more protein than the standard biscuit. And you can make them in a fraction of the time.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Yogurt Biscuit Ingredients and Substitutions<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All you need is 4 basic ingredients and you have all you need to whip up these easy drop biscuits!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Flour \u2013<\/strong> We typically use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azurestandard.com\/shop\/product\/food\/grains\/wheat\/soft-white-wheat-berries\/soft-white-wheat-organic\/11650?package=GR120&amp;a_aid=1VhF2IHeYI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">white wheat berries<\/a> from Azure Standard that we grind in our <a href=\"http:\/\/nutrimill.com\/fromscratch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nutrimill<\/a>. We like to use either <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Zjv56B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bob\u2019s Red Mill baking powder<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azurestandard.com\/shop\/product\/food\/baking-pantry\/baking-powder\/baking-powder\/29726?package=BP713&amp;a_aid=1VhF2IHeYI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aluminum free baking powder<\/a> from Azure Standard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sea Salt \u2013<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azurestandard.com\/shop\/product\/food\/baking-pantry\/salt\/real\/real-salt-fine-granular\/10302?package=BP104&amp;a_aid=1VhF2IHeYI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Redmond Real Salt<\/a> is our favorite and we buy it in bulk for the best price but any sea salt will work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Plain Yogurt \u2013<\/strong> Greek yogurt works great in this recipe but regular plain yogurt will work too. A thicker yogurt, like Greek style, won\u2019t need quite as much flour as a less thick standard yogurt. I find that they bake the most evenly this way. And seasoned and heated cast iron is completely non-stick. When I use our plain <a href=\"https:\/\/fromscratchfarmstead.com\/how-to-make-crock-pot-yogurt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">homemade yogurt<\/a> that can be a little more on the runny side, I find that I need to add a few extra tablespoons of yogurt to get a stiff, workable dough. It\u2019s roughly a 1:1 ratio but with thicker Greek style yogurt, you won\u2019t need quite as much flour as with a less thick regular yogurt. It\u2019s roughly a 1:1 ratio but with thicker Greek style yogurt, you won\u2019t need quite as much flour as with a less thick regular yogurt.
