I like to coat the potatoes in the melted fat before placing in a single layer on the baking pan. If you are using a liquid fat, drizzle fat onto pan and coat potatoes the same way. Thicker potatoes will need more time than more thinly sliced ones. But I\u2019ve found around 30 minutes to generally be the sweet spot.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After they are cooked and starting to get lightly golden, remove from oven. Let sit for a couple of minutes undisturbed before serving.
