💡 Quick Agri Tips for Rabi Season 2026

  • Wheat sowing window: Ideal date range in Haryana is Nov 1–Nov 20. Late sowing beyond Dec 15 reduces yield by 1–1.5 quintals per acre per week.
  • Seed treatment: Always treat wheat seed with Thiram 75% WP (2.5g/kg) before sowing to prevent loose smut and Karnal bunt.
  • First irrigation: Apply Crown Root Initiation (CRI) irrigation at 21 days after sowing — this is the most critical irrigation for wheat.
  • Yellow rust watch: Monitor leaves from February onwards. Spray Propiconazole 25 EC at first sign of yellowing stripes.

GreenRoots’ soil testing and crop advisory service completely transformed my wheat yield. I went from 18 quintals per acre to 26 quintals in just one season by following their fertiliser and irrigation schedule. The drone spraying saved me 3 days of labour too.
